Souky was played in 2018. I thought it was more recent than that, man... And didn't realize Shienryu had been played, let alone recently, otherwise I might've gone the other way

Me and Atro were careful to look up the recent history before making any suggestions, and decided not to nominate games that have beed played in less than 2 years. Seemed reasonable.

Fun game, but I sold my Saturn copy ages ago. Can't be bothered to emulate so I'll be sticking to Blast Wind this month... see if I can't beat Atro's score, even if it doesnt matter anymore! :D

Is there some Toaplan connection here? I thought they'd only spawned Cave, Raizing, Takumi, and Gazelle

Yeah, totally cool. I'm excited to play it as I've missed when we played it before. I hope it doesn't seem like I'm being critical of your choices - it's getting to the point where it's near-impossible to avoid replaying stuff if we want to play decent games ;)

Looking over the staff, I don't actually see any connection with Toaplan. I thought I had heard that ex-Toaplan staff had worked on this, but maybe I was mistaken.

I'm not sure either, but the influence is 100% there.

And what about the soundtrack? What you guys think? It's solid alround but the one at stage 5 boss kicks ass, wish i could reach it,lol lol.
