was totally in a zone, maxed out the red missile weapon and only got a couple speed ups. The levels are soooo damn long...

fuck yeah, that's the crazy thing about this game. I thought I was making good progress in level 2 and the shit just kept going. You can see what lies ahead when you die and I still wasn't close to reaching that boss.

I’m gonna give it another go. You’re just so destroyed if you don’t play perfect. I know there are a lot of games that are like this but this one is especially brutal. I feel like you can’t die anywhere on the 2nd stage and go without speed and firepower on your next life.
