I haven't had time to go the shop today, but I'll be going there tomorrow. I'm only interested in picking up Conan #30, Civil War #3, and Witchblade #100, so its pretty much a light week for me.

I'm just curious, what shop do you guys go to in order to buy comics? I go to a shop called Joker's Child, its arguably the best comic store in all of Jersey.

And as for All Star Batman and Robin and whether its good or not, are you retarded? He's the goddamn Batman!.

I recently pick up Tim Burton's The Melancholy Death of Oyster and Other Stories for the missus.

It's a fun read. Now have to get the figurines.

I blew $41.59 on thirteen issues yesterday, unfortunately. I didn't pick up my pull list from last week, so things stacked up got a bit pricey. I picked up the following:

The only real comment I have on the issues this week is concerning Battle for Bludhaven; this miniseries was ragged on from the very get-go, but I kept buying because I had hope that there was going to be one hell of a payoff in the end. Also, Captain Atom is a personal fave of mine, so I had to see what happened to him in the end. My friend and I were discussing it, and I believe I said "Captain Atom's gonna wake up, and there's gonna be hell to pay." Well, what happened? Captain Atom woke up and there was hell to pay. He fucking killed Major Force dead, then incinerated Bludhaven. What a goddamn badass. That goes beyond badass, actually, that's god-like. Holy shit. What a payoff indeed.

I've only read Civil War so far and it was pretty good, though the ending was nothing compared to last issue's (obviously). Still, it seems like things are starting to pick up. Now another month's wait for the next issue.

I was going to buy the Ennis/Crain Ghost Rider HC, but then I realized that I don't really like Ghost Rider and that I'd only be buying it for the artwork.

I picked the Iron Man one instead.

I need some rest and won't be able to read most of this shit until after the weekend anyway.
