It’s in my house. People walk in through the basement where the arcade is. They hang out upstairs for drinks/snacks and a little more quiet place to talk. If it grows too big for my house, which I hope it does, I will set up an actual space in downtown main street for my arcade (still all free). Spaces are available for very very cheap so it will be totally doable. I want the arcade space and the community to grow organically. Games that have free play are set to that. Games that don’t have that option have a credit button on the coin door. Head-On doesn’t have credits or a start button so quarters are lined on the bezel old school style and people just grab a quarter from there to play a game.
Hey bud. You're doing something real great here. ForeverSublime made the perfect post in this thread, those kids will remember this for years to come.

Be careful if you follow through on this plan to make it a free arcade on downtown main street. Don't let yourself be taken advantage of, and godspeed.

Dude. My parents live there!!! I'll hit you up next time I'm in town. I remember a long time ago there was a pizza joint with Hard Driving there.

That’s amazing you do that for your community. Like someone else posted you are creating memories for others I’m sure they won’t forget and you’re giving people an opportunity to have some fun. Kudos to you for sure.

Tomorrow night is game night at the arcade. It’s December so the theme is Christmas as much as possible. Christmas trap and dubstep music and Deathsmiles II!!!

I recently picked up a project cab to work on through the winter. It’s a jammatized Williams Robotron cab. I won’t be restoring it to original, but just cleaning it up good and making it functional again. I have a multi Taito game that I will put in it that will add some good variety.

In a couple weeks my wife will have a baby and my In-Laws will be coming to visit from Colorado. Traveling with my Father-In-Law will be a Nintendo VS Red Tent project that I had in his storage. Lots of work ahead and will need to do some creative rearranging to fit everything in.

Looks like a good time. I see you got the red tent working as well.

Does this mean you also had a new baby? Congrats.

Man, that's cool.
You couldn't do that around here. People would be stealing & breaking stuff left and right.

We had 35 people at the arcade tonight! I couldn’t take many pix because my phone was being used for the music.

And a bit of new interesting news, my tiny town used to have a skating rink that has not been operated in many years. Well this month it is opening back up and I am one of the people running it. Very exciting! I had nearly tried to buy a skating rink back in Colorado before I moved to Washington.
