I played XIII on the PS3 with Filthy,

I'm actually starting to wonder if KOF XIII has a better netcode then SFV (Not counting the PS3 release. Just XBL and PC.).

Just saying ;)

I wish I could tell where the fuck all these bad matches are located. If they throw in a random person from South America then I get why all the skipping, but supposedly the matches should be 3 bars or higher. In that case WTF. Besides the fact I was skipping like crazy with my ex roommate who lives in Michigan now. I recognize that my online was fucking up because it was Sunday and kids gotta stream their porn, but it seemed crazy it was that bad.

Edit: So I was bored and played SFV on the PS4. My god there was a ton of one sided input delay. I optimized the PC version and it's not that bad, but playing the PS4 version it feels like the PC version before I screwed with it. Is this normal for the PS4 people? I know my TV isn't the best for gaming, but damn.

I play on PS4 & the connection for the most part is pretty amazing. Just as good as HDR for XBL. I set mine to 4-5 bars only & im using wired connection.

Do you mean letting the video card software optimize the game? My r9 tried to auto optimize the game when I first installed it and the game had screen tearing like a mother fucker. I had to go in and disable it then tweak the setting myself.

No, I'm talking about this:

As for PS4 difference that's weird. Guessing it's because my router isn't configured correctly forthe PS4. Personally I barely play it so haven't gave a shit to worry about it. It works great on Steam for me and that's on the arcade cabinet so no real complaints there.

Soo, guile can crouch walk...

So you can charge down while moving back or forwards...

Sounds good.

Oh thank christ...a charge character.

What... no love for Fang?

Fundamentally changing one of the original 8 would've been disastrous though. How would they have differentiated him from Nash? Yeah. This gives me more confidence that they won't fuck up Boxer though.

I'd love to understand how the matchmaking works. I get on play some dude way below, then I start getting guys my level. I'm having a blast win or lose. Then it's like the game knows you're having fun and inserts a guy 2000 points above you. Okay no problem I'll play him and get back to guys my level right? Ahem,... no then I play a different guy. Same ranking. I swear it has a fun o meter on it and if you're enjoying yourself too much they'll either insert a player way above you're level, or insert a shitty lag match. I'm starting to wonder if this is an Ono troll.

I rather play higher rank players then these shitty ultra bronze players. If I win I get 10pts. If I lose that's minus 130pts.

If you're losing to these shitty ultra bronze players then you still have stuff to learn. Playing guys way above you is nice for a once every few matches, but when the majority of the time it's only them then there's something wrong. You should be matched up a majority of the time with people in your ranking. Not way below, not way above. Personally I'd rather be matched with people 1,000 points above me then below simply because it's closer to my skill level.

Now if losing to lag comes into play (i.e. a second ago lost a match to a dude from China when my search parameters are 4-5) that sucks, but hopefully it's not the usual.

Im losing to ultra bronze players because gief has to be on point every match no matter what skill level. They really fucked him hard this game. You constantly have to make the right read or you get punished hard. Playing against someone ultra bronze is the same as ultra gold to me. Platinum players i've struggle with as i think i only beat one so far.

I got my gold which was my goal, im not sure if im going to shoot for super gold, its probably not worth it.

Honestly until they fix the netcode, it's not worth it to get too worried about rankings. I see some good tech Gief can do, but if you can't be on point, it's one giant struggle.

Anyone tried Guile? Does he meet your expectations for a charger?

I'd say he is pretty much what you'd expect with a few new tricks thrown in. Not near as drasticly changed as many others.

I been sick as a dog and haven't played anything... I'm pretty hyped to check him out tho.

Hopefully balrog will be a charger too.
