Total Recall - The Perfect Arnold Movie?

Collatoral Damage, Conan the Destroyer, Raw Deal and Red Heat are the only Arnold movies I've seen and haven't liked (although I haven't watched all of his movies).

Okay, let's get one thing straight: Schwarzenegger was in Batman & Robin which didn't get the benefit of having Jim Carrey supporting a weaker character. Had those two guys been in one movie and Tommy Lee Jones and Uma Thurman in the other, at least one of 'em would've been good.

And yes, Schwarzenegger's take on the Mr. Freeze character was definitely something the general public could have enjoyed more than the traditionally-depressed version, but saying that Batman & Robin is your favourite one of his movies is... just going too far.

My bad, they all blend together after the burton ones.
But seriously, he's so bad he's good in that.
Kind of how I imagine jingle all the way HAS to be.

Yep, as many said before, Commando is the quintessential Arnold movie IMO. It's not the best movie starring Arnie but I honestly don't see how anyone could hate it.

I'm sure you've all seen that but it always tickles my heart.

it was the dawn of the 90's,the future looked good. thoughts still were in our head of making colonies on mars. this was our future and this is why the movie has stood out for so long. every scene was memorable almost. the galleria,take your ass to mars,trivinium,i can go on.
i got the old dvd mars case edition from back then:

they still havent made any movies as violent or as as good as total recall in a long ass time.


theres so much to say good about it. even if arnie didnt do total recall it would have been a hit. theres so much il probably post multiple threads in here.

My favorite part of all Arnold movies is how is is obviously a foreigner with a THICK Austrian accent but just has an American name and is in American situations and we just pretend he is American. I mean just look at his names!!! It's hilarious.

For me it's a tossup between The Predator and Terminator.
