What arcade stick do you own?

Finally got one of these.


New everything here. Seimitsu LS-70x lever, Sanwa buttons. Wired the auxiliary button panel so that it actually works. Had to drill out the area directly below the lever to accommodate the length of the shaft . Of course modified it for use with other platforms. There’s not a lot of room in this one.

Sid you use a step bit or a hole saw to cut the case?

Conveniently, there’s a hole in the steel right there. It’s just about 24mm, the same size hole you need for JP start and select buttons, so I used my hole saw to drill that out, then cleaned it up with a dremel tool.

Interesting.
I use both but usually go to the balltop in a shooter.
That's what I'm looking forward to trying with this JLF-D, it takes less than a minute to swap levers.
I'll be able to constantly try both in short order.

Just tried out the Qanba Dragon and Hori Fighting Edge for the first time.

The Dragon is ridiculous. Probably the clunkiest, most unwieldly fightstick I've ever seen. I can't imagine it being used for anything besides desktop play. It's funny for a novelty but why anyone would prefer that to the Obsidian 1 is beyond me.

What are people's thoughts on the Nacon Daija?

I've never heard of nacon.
$250, official PS5 support, looks big but well thought out.
Sanwa lever/buttons, you won't need to upgrade it unless you just want different colours or to swap in Seimitsu parts.
Looks like if what you're looking to do is just plug it in and play, maybe swap the artwork, you'll probably be ok with it so long as you find it comfortable.
Once you start swapping parts you might as well go custom as you're already in that price range.

I like the look of the Victrix sticks, but PDP totally stole my idea of using laser-etched SSFIIX artwork. Pictures of my Guile and Chun-Li sticks were posted on SRK Tech Talk way back in 2010. Laser etching on mirror plexi done by the now-defunct Tek-Innovations.









And here's how it looks after I last updated it in 2017. Stuff inside: Seimitsu LS-40, Seimitsu PS-14-K, Toodles TE KItty, Toodles ArcEye3, Toodles Remora, Dual Shock 4 padhack, Xbox One padhack. Also has DB-15 for Neo-Geo/supergun. Thinking of replacing all the PCBs with the new Brook Ultimate+ with Retro.
