Blasting some classics tonight. Haven't listened to either of these in ages, Slint - Spiderland and the Squirrel Bait debut EP...

Maybe 30 years ago, me and a friend of mine took my sister's spool of 45rpm records into his back yard. A lot of vintage stuff from the 70s and early 80s. Must have been about 50 of them on that spool.

We took turns pitching them to each other and then swinging an aluminum baseball bat. we would read the name of the song aloud before we threw them.

We were very enthusiastic about some of them.

Fragments of records were all over the backyard.

My friend said 'My dad is gonna fucking kill me when he goes to mow this yard'.

He works on the military side of Boeing now.

Tweeze has gotten a new mix, which undoes Albini’s ‘destruction’ of the original tracks.

Releases late October ‘24!
*fingers crossed some get pressed up on wax

Don't worry Wataru, most of it was bad music.

It deserved it.

Think of it like the scene in Shaun of the Dead without zombies.

Traded some equipment for this today and am SO FUCKIN GLAD to have this. The 7th rarities vinyl in the set is worth the pick up all by itself and i would never have dropped the cash up front on this set yet probably over 10 years would have overpaid for most of these albums one by one and been out more than the asking price by quite a bit.
Hell yeah!!!IMG_0560.jpeg

Picked this up tonight along with a few others. Didn't know anything about this band. Definitely a mix of all of Phil's bands. Well worth the $15 I paid.1000006217.jpg

Another album I picked up last week. Super minty 2011 German release of this Cavalera Conspiracy album. Sounds great.1000006705.jpg
