Haha, That looked very similar to the first photo I took when I got my Egret 2. Next to my blast city and the E2 had Raiden 2 in it. Congrats Sir!

I was hoping I would be able to find a Taito stereo amp for this, but it sounds like i'm going to have to wait forever. I saw that people are using amps from pc speakers and wiring them up. Is there a tutorial for this? I have searched, but only find references to it, and not an actual tutorial. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was looking through your site, all those cabs you have in the basement? That's crazy! Do you find you get the use out of them or is it just more of a collecting thing?

I have a fairly huge collection yeah. Im a collector, but i have several (fairly) big parties a year, so others can enjoy the games too.
But I enjoy fixing and restoring stuff almost more than actually playing the games. I enjoy playing shmups more than anything I own.

Truth be told, the genny version is a very spot on conversion, that game gets silly money in PCB now.

I moved my machine tonight and have noticed that the corners are discolored. Does this mean that it needs to be degaussed? I looked behind the coinbox and do not see a button to do this. Am I overlooking something?

...so classy...I love the clean presentation of that setup. I'd definitely spread them apart a bit, also away from the wall, just enough to make nice elbow room.

Leave the machine off for about an hour, E2's have an auto degaussing that kicks in when you first turn the machine on. If it doesn't fix it the first time, let it sit of and turn it on again.
