No. Doom 3 sucks shit.

Doom, Doom II, and Doom 64 are great, though. And you can get Final Doom, No Rest for the Living, Sigil, and several community add-ons for free if you buy Doom or Doom II.

For $5 I think it’s fine. I enjoyed it in 2004. It’s definitely a one time through experience

Doom 3 is a tech demo. It was impressive 15 years ago from a technical standpoint but it was never a good video game. Bad gunplay, bad story with unskippable cutscenes, stupid flashlight mechanic, almost no monster infighting.

Mostly it's walking down a dark corridor from one cheesy jumpscare to the next.

I've been replaying the Doom games recently. Ultimate Doom is OK. Doom II is way better. I would change my vote to that.
