Each bump is the equivalent of being pushed by a car at 20 MPH. (Not hit and run style, but imagine putting yourback to the fender of a car and it thrusts into 20 MPH, that's a bump)
Scoop Slam, Vertical Suplex, everytime you drop to the mat, that's what it's like.
well i took suai chow for a while as a kid, and played a lot of baseball, but since then i haven't exactly been in shape. i need to turn about 20 pounds i have on me right now into muscle. build some stamina and shit then go down and try out for some schools here and there. how tall is your brother though? i'm only 5'10'' but i'd want to have a weight of around 250 and be able to lift a lot more than my max right now (around 270) i really just need to get back in shape, but now that i know that what it takes is just going to the schools and meeting people and just going out and doing it, makes it seem much easier. it'll happen though, i wanna fuckin do that shit man. i think it'd be the most fun thing to do with my spare time.Average Joe said:He started doing the backyard thing with an assload of old mattresses with his friends and then from there, it just sort of progressed... met people along the way from going to amateur shows and whatnot; checked out some school that's in NH, but mostly just learned from meeting people who eventually became his friends that were willing to help out.
He's gotten pretty good too.
His upper body is quite massive and he's a lot a more speedy and agile than you'd think he would be for his size.
I'm no fighter but I am fairly solid and well-built but I doubt even at my best I could put up anything but a fifteen second fight against him (not that we would ever fight, because we're tight and he doesn't do steroids so he never "rages out.)
Personally, I detest wrestling, but I do have a fairly large level of respect for the effort and pain that these folks go through.
It's not that hard to get into really, it's just all about getting out there to meet people and looking up wrestling schools in your area that you could go to.

That shit hurts.
Plain and simple, it hurts.
It's not just focused pain either, it's like your whole body takes this weird sort of "rattling" blow... the best I could describe it I guess.
lol, yea, I found that out already with nruva's post. I'm really pretty bad at storytelling thought text.Xian Xi said:your story could be easily rewritten to sound like a porno.
Kim _Kaphwan said:i was suprised at how effective pulling off one of those wrestling moves is in a real fight. i remember in highschool two kids were gonna get in a fight in the locker room after PE class. and they start pushing each other and yelling. when one just snaps. he kicks the other dude hard as he can in the chest. then when he's reeling gets him in the stone cold stunner. other kid was on the ground with a ton of neck pain and a broken nose. and the kid who pulled off the stunner walked out. shit was effective as all hell at ending the fight. i guess cause most fights end with wrestling around, wrestling moves would give you an advantage.

i need to join a gym, i need to build that muscle mass to amazing proportions. or at least enough to toss a guy 50 pounds heavier than me around a bit. honestly most of wrestling is stamina. being able to move and grapple and dance like that for sometimes more than an hour in some matches... well it takes a ton outta you. i'm definately gonna go for it though. no reason not to. that and hell with the shawn michaels school in san antonio it's a direct outlet for the WWE who is constantly scouting for new talent.Average Joe said:Yeah, he's all about the mass/bulk muscle and wrestling has done nothing but help him out with that.
Between taking all these various [legal] supplements; hitting the gym up on a regular basis and practice/real wrestling sessions his muscle mass increased at an almost frightening fast pace.
It's kind of funny because we're both quite serious about physical fitness yet we're on opposite ends of the spectrum.
I'm going after low body fat and definition like Mr. Spiegel here while he wants the muscle mass that will allow him to be able to toss a stocky midget clear across a football field (he's not that far off either... that midget is in trouble.)
i used to could dunno if i still can. back in my baseball days when i weighed 230 and all of it was muscle when i could do a 15 minute 3 mile..those were the days. since then it's been two years of laziness and cheeseburgers and now i'm 240 and blubbery. sucks. most people who do weight training can bench and deadlift much more than their own weight. it isn't hard. i was pushing for 300 back then. i need to get that back.LoneSage said:Kim you can seriously bench 270 pounds?
Sure you didn't mean 170?
