I think the price for the MVS cart is gonna drop like a rock.
Nobody's gonna pay big money for essentially what seems to be KOF98. I'm not mad, just a bit disappointed. Even moreso that i'll probably have to see what people think before I decide to buy or not as it'll probably not make it to my neck of the woods.
All in all not not good. Not good at all.
But i'm still excited to see another KOF and may just purchase it solely for that reason.

I don't know what some of you guys are thinking? This game just from these few less than great quality pics looks fantastic! The back grounds look so much better that last years, and there different and unique. The charater sprites look much the same but a little sharper. And that charter art is great as well. If the music and gameplay is as good as these pics' then i say screw 98 we have a new champ Of couarse it still will be nice to judge it in action.

The art work in game and out is incredible!

Agreed, that character art of Iori looks pretty crap, but on the whole the art does seem miles better than in KOF 2001.... so do the backgrounds from what we can see so far. I just hope that the same goes for the music!!!

Yeah I agree with that, the music in KoF2k1 was the only thing that needed work.

Before seeing these images I was rather neutral towards this KoF..but now that I've seen these, I can't wait! The art looks better than last year..Goro Daimon's art is kinda funny...Vice looks cool, Mature looks weird, Yashiro looks like a freak, looks like Shermie and Angel are gonna be neck to neck this year <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[LOL]" /> and Chris looks unchanged for some reason (art, not sprites, everyone knows the sprites are pretty much unchanged anyway)

But Iori...what is up with that hair? Elvis reborn as a goth or what? <img src="graemlins/eek2.gif" border="0" alt="[Eek 2]" />

Other than the art, the game looks scrumptious, can't wait to try it out...

Those bg's look okay to me. The character line up is cool, but I was real pissed they cut Geese. If the music and voices dont sound like shit in 2K1 I will buy the HC for sure.

Looks real good so far, im gonna contradict my original thought of it. The bg's kinda bring back the Genryoku period stage in WHP. NICE...
No Eiji or Geese, but we havent seen the hidden chars yet. If there are some (like in the last dream match) then even better...

I like the side facial portraits this year around WAYYYYYYYYYYY Better then 2K1.
I will have to play it to see. Ya never know. Looks good is all im saying. Same shit we've seen before but the neo is built on rehashes in some ways. I'd like to give it a go.
