My opinion:

I like the two last ones (especially the last one).

The second one feels empty

The first one is Ok.

But doesn't the first one looks the most authentic?!?...

Damn, I thought you'd done some cool AES/shockbox inserts but Criterion style... oh well. I like the Momento cover. I my real fave is the laserdisc cover for Ghostbusters... that kicks ass, especially as the dvd se cover is rubbish.

That's not strictly true. You can get the Criterion Beastie Boys Anthology over here as I've seen it in HMV.

Anyway, check out www.criterionco.com for details on what Criterion are about. Personally I think Criterion SE's rock :buttrock:

That Gladiator one is really cool looking. Even if it doesn't really look very Criterion. :loco:

yeah that's the movie, and that's the criterion case art. are you just posting pics of the criterion covers? i thought you were making your own versions of them, which is why i wanted to see what you could do with throne of blood. oh well.

I think they ARE his creations dude. He somehow has gotten the format down to an exact science it seems... because I can't for the life of me see why Criterion Collection would put out a specialized DVD of this:

I mean come on! It's a freckin' Adam Sandler movie, it's far from high art or even subversive. I want him to do a mock up Criterion of RED DAWN or Taboo, the 70's porno just for a laugh personally.

I have about 100 Criterions, and I must say I'm very impressed by your work,

However...

If they did this I would disown the company.

I have enough problem with their decision to do "Armageddon" and, to a lesser degree, "The Rock".

I can't understand Rushmore's inclusion

p.s. I thought Bottle Rocket and Royal Tennenbaums were cool though
