I had no idea there was a feline equivalent to HIV. Damn.

Cat's been pretty affectionate the last two days. I know I'm just projecting but I like to think she's being apologetic.

I didn't know until a few years ago. I was walking home from work and noticed a lost Cat sign posted on a telephone pole. It said "HIV positive." I thought that was pretty weird so I looked it up when I got home. Strange stuff.

feline HIV sucks, and if your cat comes down with it, it is just best to put him down. the pain, and shit he'll go through is just not worth it.

All kidding aside it sounds truly awful. My childhood dog contracted lupus and a some other diseases right before he died. I'm normally not very emotional but just thinking of the poor guy right before he died (we euthanized him) makes me want to tear up.
