Neo-Geo Arcade Stick Pro (set to English, but still in Japanese)

Just got an Arcade Stick Pro off Amazon, the system's default language is set to English, yet all the games/logos/speech/font are in Japanese. SamSho2 is Shin Samurai Spirits and I don't get that beautifully brutal Engrish text intro. Same issue for all games; Fatal Fury 3's spoken intro is all Japanese, etc. Even the FAQ on the SNK website doesn't mention this issue.

I'm still well within my return window for another 3 weeks but am hesitant to return it if there's a fix I'm just not seeing. I got it for a steal; $69.99 new, includes PS3/PS4/Switch adapter and HDMI cable. It wasn't from SNK but a 3rd party; came with all materials listed and was BNIB.

The fix is the same for all of these types of device. Stop buying them.

They used the US BIOS on the first Neo Minis. Most games were censored. The JP (obviously) and the later international Samurai Shodown Minis already used the JP BIOS. There is no stock Arcade Stick Pro with an US BIOS.

it makes a good project enclosure for the discount price they sell them for. Just pretend the actual games don't exist
