Hi, I just bought a Neo-Geo Glass, it has a neo-geo logo with jap writings printed on polished glass, and 2 little metal pegs to hold it in place on a table, is it rare, and worth alot? The seller told me it was a promotional item for people buying more then 100 fatal fury 3 carts in spain like stores, or that it was in Neo-Geo old Spain office for display. Please help info needed, thanks!

Edit info added: It's very heavy.

It looks like it says:

ネオ・ジオ・レンタル店

at the bottom.

This would translate as 'Neo Geo Rental Shop'; a store that rents the Neo Geo out. Because it's written in Japanese, my bet is that it was originally a Japan only sign that was given to stores that rented out the Neo.

I really have no idea, thats what the seller told me they were given too, but since theres japanese writings saying Neo-Geo for rent or something, it must be originaly from japan. So anyone know what this is worth?

looks like a paper weight to me. Things like this are only worth what someone is willing to pay. Nice find though.

Nah, it's not a paper weight it's too much big and heavy to be one, like someone said the jap characters mean "Neo-Geo Rental" so this was probably used in japan to mark out were you could rent a Neo-Geo or something. But if it was, this probably means there are more then one in the world but, were are they? This is probably the first to surface, what would someone be prepared to pay for this?

If you were willing to throw this item to the eBay wolves, it would fetch a handsome sum, most likely. Just look at how much "value" collectors put into things like the "Neo Geo World Mats." Any "Big Tymer" worth their salt would want an item like this in their collection; those kind of artifacts are usually rarer than the rarest games themselves.
