I never understood the reasoning behind people wanting the cause of death hidden. It does not seem to matter if a person is famous or a nobody. I understand socially it's unacceptable to ask so of course I observe the custom with tact but it just never made any sense to me why everyone's family is so secretive about cause of death. I feel like it is pretty natural and human to wonder how someone came to pass away. I've had a lot of family and friends pass away and I never felt the need to keep the way it happened private.
