Which one of the Capcom & Marvel "Vs." Games did you like the LEAST?

MvC2 is winning as the least liked?!! I'm shocked, I thought that was the most popular of the 4.

It's easily the most popular, it still gets tournament play to this day. But a lot of people don't like it on this site. There are a lot of valid complaints about it, but its still a good game IMO.

Ask anywhere else in the universe and you'll get a totally different answer. To be a member on this board, you have to hate this game. And I love the people that say "too many useless characters". I bet I could kick their ass with the "low tiers" just fine. To play as only the top four, you have to be a mega badass. That shit ain't easy, the stuff the broken characters can do. They're broken only if you're a god damn genius at the game. I will admit that my Ironman is a cheap bastard, but other than that, the game is awesome.

MVC2 is the most popular (and it seems expensive) of the games but I'm not sure its the best. I don't care for it much (one nice thing is you can make your own soundtrack but even then its just meh) I sure as hell wouldn't pay 80 bucks for it. These are all decent games and I can't pick a fave but I'd rather play capcom vs snk

From an asthetic standpoint, I really prefer the earlier titles. Gameplay wise I enjoy mvsf the most, not a popular view, but I prefer the pacing. MvC2 is tournament popular in a way due to the fact that it's the newest and it gained a lot of early ground with the roster. It's not the buttonmashing scrub game everyone makes it out to be, infact there's an incredible amount to learn, but there's too huge a gap in tiers that make about half the roster utterly useless and a large remainder to be the bitch to the top tier.

And the only reason MvC2 is fetching a high price for the PS2 and XBox is that Capcom's license with Marvel expired when the game was produced, thus the run was limited, hence the expense.

XMvsSF started it all and is my absolute favorite. I remember having to get my Saturn modded in order to play this since I did not even think of having a cab at the time. MvsSF is probably my least favorite because they did almost nothing in terms of changing the Capcom roster, and were lazy with some palette swapping on the backgrounds. I keep MvC around because of the characters it introduced into the fighting world and how well it pairs up with XMvsSF.

And MvC2, well, as others have stated. Mainly just not fun in the end

We don't have top players like finesse and etc who could give a really accurate read on this.

I believed this was only played at tourneys 'cause it was the most current. I don't think finnesse has nothing to do with it. MVC2 is allright, but the balance top tier scale is way off thus everybody uses the same all 3 Mags, storm, and whatever behemoth you want to use for assits, most of the time juggs.

I hate most of em to be honest. Personally, the one I like the least (sticking to the threads original base) has to be mvsc2. I like xmen vs sf the best cause it has a great pace.

I already know that stuff btw. I've been to numerous tourneys with people going crazy over this game, I know how the tiers work.. Hell, my good friend vince is sick good in this game, we even had a hang with potter at one point, and potter just cleaned everyone out. I also meant the player 'finesse'.

As far as I am concerned... Sentinel, mag and storm are the top 3.
Most of the time jugg's? What do you mean, cause juggernaut sucks balls in MVSC2. If you mean juggles, I hear what you're saying, but against top players that shit is just a race to infinite with magneto or others.

The one I like the least is MvC1 It just didn't do it for me. I found it boring. Onslaught as a boss was cool but I wanted different characters.
