Game of saving throws

Game of saving throws
I can't wait for people to start losing their shit after tonight's episode.
I've been waiting for this moment precisely to see if the show can survive the heat.
It's gonna be interesting following things in the fanbase!
Man, all I can say is thank fuck for having one episode to go. If the season ended there I'd probably go crazy.
you can always read the book...
I'm a little torn on that....reading through a series of books (of which the plot is already known to me) up to a point where at the books start spoiling the show.
S03E09 aired last night. Quite a bit of action again(finally).
I sincerely hope that the season ends on a more hopeful note than last night's episode, even if it's another cliffhanger.
I'm hoping for:
Spoiler:A: Joffrey's wedding, in order to give people a little hope and make them want to come back to see next season.
or
Spoiler:B: Bran, Jojen and Mira meeting up with Sam and Gilly, meeting Cold Hands and going under the wall. Or really, just meeting Cold Hands. Adds a nice wrinkle to the storyline in that not all white walkers are bad guys or monsters.
Insofar as the following:
Spoiler:Jon defending the wall and Ygrit dying in his arms, I really don't want to see that this season. I don't see it as a way to end a season because there is still a lot of set up to come before then and Jon's rise to heroism has already been truncated by the TV show too much in my opinion. I personally think next season needs to be 'Jon's season.' To this point, he's been a bystander in his own life, and in order for the TV Jon to match the book Jon and become the central figure necessary to advance the narrative, to be the guy that you believe Stannis wants to raise up to nobility and get the confidence of the Night's Watch and have the comand and authority to do all the things he does like send Sam to become a maester and take Janos Slynt's head...to become a character you believe is capable of being capable and intellgent enough to enact all those things, the TV Jon has to start initiating action and taking control in more meaningful ways.
Inspiring others, showing off his considerable swordfighting skills, leading and showing his tactical and strategic capabilities and just being an all around hero. To this point, he's been reactionary, and I don't think one episode is enough to do the character justice and bring him to where, in my opinion, he's supposed to be. Dany's had her coming out party, now it's time for Jon to have his. I also don't want to see Manse's army massing at the wall as a season finale either, since that kind of looming threat was already done at the end of last season.
Also, I really don't want them to cop out on the battle, as that would be the third time I was let down by the show for skimping on the warfare. First time was the battle Tyrion was in near the end of A Game of Thrones, the second timew as the battle at The Fist of the First Men between the Night's Watch and the undead.
When somebody takes their talents to Bravos, people back home should lose their shit and start burning all their merchandise.
They could film the episode in Cleveland.
And just use the Lebron fallout footage without any explanation.
How about Aaron Rodgers ruining the episode in a tweet then not being sorry about it and quoting the 24 hr rule? Seriously, 24 hrs is not enough for premium episodic content. American Idol maybe, but you gotta have at least a half a year cooling period for something like a season finale or cliffhanger. Especially when it's on paid premium cable.
Good. Glad he could moron stomp all the bitches who can't read too good.
