What are some games you wish would get made or released but chances are never will? Personally I wish there was a remake or retro style sequel for Shatterhand on NES. I also to this day really wish Mega Man Universe had come out.

A sequel to PC Engine Ninja Spirit with as much heart as the original. Probably impossible.

Virtua Fighter 6
New F-Zero

Still don't know why a new F-Zero did not materialize on Switch. Ironically the guy who made the game left Nintendo today after 32 years!

A new Illbleed game but with VR support. That game was so ahead of the curve it's not even funny.

That would be great. Legend of Kage somehow gets a DS sequel like 20 years later, while Ninja Spirit rots away

This also baffles me. You'd think Sony would be all over a physical button, modern mobile phone considering the cellphone market is so over-saturated and samey. Would be a win-win since I don't see them ever releasing another portable console again

I own dozens and dozens of games I've barely played now; I think I'm good. But, the world desperately needs Star Trek holo decks and Ferengi to stock them with quality porn.

Rival Schools 3. The first game is my favourite 3D fighting game of all time as well as the Dreamcast sequel and would love the series to carry on.

Power Stone 3. I like the power stone games more than Smash Bros. These games were soo good I can't believe Capcom gave up on them that quick.

MDK 3. The first game is one of my favourite PC game of all time and the Dreamcast sequel was pretty decent minus some levels. Would love to see another MDK game.

Metal Gear Rising 2. my favourite Metal Gear game and an epic hack and slash. Many rumours of a sequel that we're probably never going to get.

FEAR 4. FEAR 2 was one of my favourite FPS's of that era but the sequel was more action and less of the horror elements and the last in the series. It would be great to have another game that goes back to horror.

A concept game, which has a name but I forget now what it is. It could be single or multiplayer, but all interconnected in some way. A game that a person can choose to play a very small part or a very large part. A game that has everything in it. The example I like to use is to imagine a single game that has all of the Sim games inside of it. SimCity, SimTown, SimEarth, Sims, Streets of SimCity, SimCopter, SimFarm, SimAnt, etc.

There is a more into this direction with the underlying aspect of No Man's Sky, which let you move from a spaceflight/combat game, though an atmosphere and down onto a planet. But the idea of the all encompassing game would be, say someone is playing on the SimCity mode and there is a tornado, it would effect people playing in the Sims or SimCopter mode. One big issue with a game of this design is that things could then occur that a player would have no ability to deal with, such as if a meteor would hit, then the person who was in SimTown or SimAnt or SimFarm mode would have a game over.

Aside from that, another game concept would be a reality simulator. Not really needing to be a simulator, but it is just an annoyance I have with games that have doors that cannot be opened, windows that cannot be broken, cars that cannot be driven, buttons that cannot be pushed, computers that cannot be used, etc. I want to be able to do everything and pick up/throw anything. Too much of a game is just there for show.

One thing I'd love to see is a realistic survival horror game. My idea would be to have multiple scenarios – murderer, aliens, zombies, etc. You play as a normal person that can use the tools that would be normally accessible to you and nothing else. A squirrel doesn't drop an AK-47 when you kill it, and there's no healing. You just have to either fight or make your way to safety.

Actually games could really do better with less focus on presentation and more focus on choices actually mattering and allowing the player to be more creative in solving problems.

Yup. Even the games that emphasize choice end up feeling like nothing's really affected other than a few sidequests.
