While no one would call Corpse Killer a good game, damned if it isn't fun to play. Horrible acting between the action, it's the definition of a guilty pleasure, and the only 32x CD game I ever bother to play. Of course, there are only a handful of games, and none of them are particularly good. Night Trap, Fahrenheit, Scottie Pippen Basketball and Supreme Warrior. Mostly FMV/quick time chud.

Technically Surgical Strike got a 32xCD release, but it was super limited, and allegedly Brazil only. I have the standard Sega CD version of that one, and it's actually pretty good.

Surgical Strike is so “good” we had a collector in Goobil holding onto a copy of the 32x CD version for decades and no one actually thought to ever ask him what was the difference between it and the regular version. They did ask for teh romz a lot though which had to wait for him to literally die to get out there

I realized I was in the collector's end game when there were only a few Sega CD & 32X games left on my list.

@smokey
If you put in a modern screen, the nomad becomes incredible. It dramatically increases the battery life too. Apparently most of the battery juice went to the backlight.

My brother had a nomad.
Chewed through batteries.
We would play multiplayer zero tolerance with it.
Fond memories.

I had both Nomad and Turbo Express at some point, I understand why people upgrade the screens, the new ones are way better, but the old ones are still playable and how they were meant to be played so I didn’t modify mine. If I want a better screen there are many other modern handhelds options
I snagged a Nomad when Toys R Us liquidated them for $50. Played the fuck out of it in college.

Rather play on an emulator handheld now. But they are still badass.

I always used the car adapter or AC adapter with mine. I probably only tried AA batteries once.

I didn't realize it was ever possible to get one rhat cheap. That's good timing. I paid $180 for mine full retail at Best Buy.

I've always had a soft spot for the 32X. It has a lot of very good and even great games, plus it's a fascinating view into what was wrong at Sega.

Oddly enough a view that honestly pales in comparison to the endless string of bad decisions surrounding the Saturn...

you asked the irony in having the mister in the bg of your 300 bux vinyl cleaner and I forgot to reply

you go GET A MISTER to videogoobing yet own a shit ton of expensive equipment and vinyls for something that could be a flac file in a decent player lol

at least you're not posting snake oil goobery like granite bases or transcontinental cable level thick RCA wires for your setup
