Ya I read that thread. Was just curious what all these 3000 in 1 etc... multi arcade boards use. I'd imagine it'd have to be mame I doubt they'd emulate all that shit themselves lol.

For some reason this game has alluded me for a long time. I've been out bid 100 times, then when I finally just used buy it now it got lost in the post and I had to get a refund. I'm glad I've finally got it, I've missed playing this game.

Sanwa original pink and green mesh. Pink has some wear on it. It's weird, I think I see why sanwa went with the more subtle design now. The water transfer that was employed here was a real thin layer, albeit it with a really good but thin coat of clear coat industry grade. The effect is dangerously close to being worn off it, definitely for display only. Not using these.

I haven't gotten any video game stuff lately and I've actually been on a kind of vacation. That might change now. After reading about that retron 5 thing, I decided to try it out. I waited until the end of my shift to call the store and they had one left. I wasn't really expecting much and since they kept calling it "that video game thing" I was certain I'd get there and they would have one of those stupid AtGames Genesis dealies.

But at $30.77, I could care less if it is a steaming pile of crap.

I won't have the time to try it out tonight, maybe tomorrow. Or maybe I should keep it sealed and sent to be VGA graded!

I would have jumped on that too at that price. I've heard mixed reviews but to me it looks like a cool gadget just for kicks. Kinda cool like living room material, keep my real consoles in the game room and use this for the guests whenever.

That monitor looks different...cool find, had one years ago, fun times and a good conversation piece but for me I had to let it go, it was just a novelty.

Thanks man, I spent some time playing it yesterday and had a ton of fun. Love the atmosphere of the game. I have the DC version of LB2 but I'd prefer to upgrade to the AES version. It might be difficult to find a loose copy in the 150-175$ range. I'll just have to keep my eyes open.

Snagged this for free (including Starfox). Parts are on the way to get it RGB modded :)

Before thorough cleaning and scuff removal:

After (forgive the crappy lighting):
