Nobody really cared for that thread until kernow started posting in there, followed by a few others. awbacon's vids aren't exactly high-hitters so I'm not sure if you could call the hits he gets from here a benefit.
Have to disagree. Loved it back in the day (on the gamecube) but now on PS5 I think it just handles very awkwardly. Everything feels stiff and slow.I still don't know why they're remaking RE4... the original game still holds up really well imo. Should have pushed their resources into remaking Code: Veronica - great game, but visuals are dating steadily.
Well, could be.
Are you saying if no-one posts in there it'll be considered spam? Hmmm
Name the price because at any value the gofundme would reach its target within hoursWell, could be.
Have to think about that a while longer.
It barely ran on GameCube. What annoys me is that they are remaking a load of barely connected beta scraps together the same as the original. Yes it was groundbreaking at the time, and barely ran on its "exclusive" (how did that go, capcom five) target, but you could move a lot of the barely connected sections around and noone would notice.Have to disagree. It's the principle in my opinion.Nobody really cared for that thread until kernow started posting in there, followed by a few others. awbacon's vids aren't exactly high-hitters so I'm not sure if you could call the hits he gets from here a benefit.
This. The game was in desperate need of updating because it was reaching the point of being too outdated. The remaster is lacking basic quality of life improvements like (now) standard options, camera control etc. I also wouldn't mind a full remake of 1. The GC remake was awesome but it's suffering the same way 4 is, now that they have this new engine that game is begging for a proper update.Have to disagree. This was my reaction as well. Not using the right stick for camera control was immensely off-putting, but it became muscle memory shortly. I feel that most younger gamers or people who are used to RE 2 remake will not be able to deal with the original controls very well, especially in hectic places like the village or cabin.I played the re4 port on ps4 after years of uncharted and other third person games and was like oh what are these controls and cone of vision?
Took me an hour or two to get used to it
Would be cool if they did the same with Dead Aim.Be neat if they took the plot of Gun Survivor and turned it into a proper RE game, make a good spin off title.
A parasite is a parasite, no matter which way you want to cut it.
That's probably what Oscar Wilde and Al Capone thought when they contracted syphilis.Yeah, but if it's just a very small parasite with three eyes and funny hair that sits there and only takes tiny little bites out of his host who didn't even know he had one before, the cure may turn out worse than the infestation.
I believe so. Much more fleshed out in general than Survivor.Never played Dead Aim... better than Gun Survivor?
Wonder what the plan is after RE:4? Go back to CV? Remake Remake? Move on and do over 5? I'd be down for a RE:5 remake that does away with the stupid forced co-op.
Everybody wants to see a sequel to Resident Evil 4.While I'm not going to goobsperg about how good 4 was, the remake is out soon.
Not long x
Still not calling the original the best game of all time - the GameCube could barely run it
