Ric Ocasic (The Cars) and Eddie Money dead

Tough week for dad rock. No word on the cause of death for Ocasic but Eddie died of cancer, just recently diagnosed.

This Side of Paradise was one of the first albums I ever bought. I still have fond memories of it.

Ric actually wrote Drive which is one of my favorite songs from The Cars. After his demo was recorded it was decided that Ben Orr sounded better for the song. I agree, but thanks Ric for writing one of my favorite ballads from the 80s.
