Looks to be a fun title, currently only scheduled for release on Steam. Most importantly, it doesn't look like it'll have microtransation P2W BS.

It's being published by DotEmu and developed by French company Leikir Studio. Music is being done by Tee Lopes who composed for Sonic Mania, League of Legends, and Streets of Rage 4's DLC to name a few.

looks like its getting some worthy graphical work . Not a bad decision for a game, should have probably ripped off Advance Wars a little more than Tactics Ogre, but whatev. The cartoon animation isn't bad either, from what I can tell... nice!

Color me surprised, it looks pretty good. Will be curious to see the community consensus once it’s out.

I'm happy to see some 2D graphics. That 3D Metal Slug game looks like puke (along with the 3D KOF games). This is a nice development.

This sounded like it was just going to be like Metal Slug Defense. This is a pleasant surprise.

Consider me intrigued. I’m surprised this has only been announced for steam. This has switch port written all over especially with dot emu involvement.

Looks like it could actually be alright. Not a big tactics guy but seems like some effort went into this.

Looks pretty sweet. Genre-wise, not my cup of tea, but, cool all the same.

I'm now wanting this to be a thing sooner. It looks fantastic. It would also probably be perfect for switch as it's not too intense graphically and strategy is great on the system

Tee Lopes as composer = auto-buy from me.

Guy is great and the music in the trailer rocks.

Cautiously optimistic. Hope it runs on Steam on my Mac.

I wouldn't bet my money on it as Apple is in a transition phase between Intel and Apple Silicon and developers are in kind of a rough spot.
While new Macs support Intel apps via Rosetta 2 it might still yield problems.
It could be a while before we start seeing new games being released again on macOS unfortunately.

Yeah, I actually have an M1 Mac Mini, so we’ll see. Hopefully this gets ported to other platforms, heck even the Switch.

This game looks like a very strong candidate for the Switch.
That's how I've been playing as of late: my Mac Pro and Switch. Nicely filled all my gaming needs.

I've been wondering why it took so long to see, that SNK's IPs, once liberated from their arcade corset, have huge potential to be put into other genres. So many great characters, like completed blueprints, just waiting to be used in gaming concepts, which arcades couldn't exploit. Hopefully this one will be successful enough to give us other games. I'd be down for an action-adventure Metal Gear type game, set in the Metal Slug world.
