You know, at least half the Evercade fanbase is gonna sperg that that case isn't going to match the others on their shelf.

I saw someone arguing that the evercade is the most successful British games console of all time. There's not much competition, I'm guessing he was probably right.

This is me! 😎 I was happy to order the standard edition of Full Void. I do like the cases to match... and saving a few bucks is nice too.
If you treat the Evercade as a casual system and pick-up a $20 cart here and there it's a great little gaming machine.

I picked up the C64 Vol1 collection for Impossible Mission and it's still stupid hard.
But I was surprised at how fun Jumpman still is.

Incredible nostalgia trip.

The collector spergs would be extra upset that I don't have my games on the shelf in order of their numbers. They're in alphabetical order. With the red, blue, and purple games intermixed. It's anarchy.

I got my Sydney Hunter Collection yesterday and I'll be damned if I don't really mind spending $20 on a physical version of it.

Might wanna be someone up otherwise but it's fine like this.

I like Jester and the SMS and SNES Sydney Hunters quite a bit. I didn't know beforehand that the Intellivision Sydney Hunter is literally just a sprite swap of that old Smurfs game, though. Pretty much a waste of the 4th game.

But, like you said, 20 bucks is the right price.

Honestly Rogue64, the newest unlockable free hidden game, is one of my most favorite games on the system so far.

I don't usually play the game of the month, I just wait until they all get bundled into one of the Indie Heroes carts and then it feels like a dozen brand new games.

How do you unlock that one?

Well, make a note: Bone Marrow = good

So it's the PS1 version of Duke Nukem 3D, but they went back and improved it some. Better frame rate, faster load times, bug fixes, control optimizations.

It isn't a total overhaul like they did for Duke Nukem 1 and 2 Remastered but it's a lot more than what they normally do (which is simply preconfigure an emulator and drop the retail ROM into it).

I guess I shouldn't be surprised - since PSX emulation is waaaay easier to implement and customize over an actual PC port. Plus the controls should adapt to the Evercade a little more seamlessly

Really wish they'd do a Wolfenstein/Spear of Destiny cart...and a Commander Keen... basically some US DOS classics...enough with the euro trash.

I think it's time to start releasing more than two carts per month. Next month the Super Pocket models launch and they'll have 3 current hardware models and about 50 carts on the market. It has grown drastically from where they started when the slow release schedule made sense. It'll piss off the shelf queens who have to buy every cart no matter what, but oh well, fuck 'em.

They added one extra game to the Taito Super Pocket. It was originally announced as having 17, but they added Puzzle Bobble to bring it up to 18.
