3 count bout aka Fire Suplex (Should have use the later title only)
Far from being my favorite game but one that definitely needs an upgrade..
The head swaps and unappealing characters like Gandhara and Leo Bradlay are bad..

I would have loved to see a Magician Lord sequel but I get why we didn’t. If the system would have come out a couple years later we wouldn’t have any of the cool first gen action platformers.

Blue’s Journey is another one, amazing game that could have been taken much further. The market changed though, into the 90s a new traditional action platform was seldom seen. The early Neo games were rollover from late 80s concepts. Really cool to look at the entire 14 year catalog and see the progression.

Ghost Pilots and Alpha Mission 2 are also fun to check out for those same reasons, they are 80s shooters for a 90s arcade system. Yes obviously they weren't very good when new, but they've become interesting curosities ever since the Neo itself became vintage.

Ghost Pilots is just okay, nothing more. Aloha Mission II on the other hand was and is an awesome little shooter. The ability to build new suits of armor, aka weapons is very cool. I also like the art style, very fitting for the times.

Alpha Misson 2 is one of the most under appreciated games on the Neo.

I would like to have seen a prequel to Real Bout called Fake Bout.

Since everyone already mentioned Garou, I’ll add Ninja Gaiden (arcade).
I wish the neo geo sequel to the original Ninja Gaiden arcade beat em up could have seen a full release:

Why did you have to remind me about this one? This is another hurt piece...
The game looks great and a much needed addition to the library...
WHERE IS THIS GAME!!!

Personally, for me, a garou 2 completed a blazing star 2 and pulsar 2.
I always considered Blazing Star to be the sequel to Pulstar.
Mutation Nation 2 would have been awesome.
A proper Shock Troopers sequel.

Damn... Well, i would love to see a follow-up to Magician Lord. I know a prototype for the NGPC exists but i don't think we're see it dumped online anytime soon :(

As for any other Neo Geo games having follow-ups, well it would have been cool seeing that Galaxy Fight/Waku Waku 7 crossover that we never got.

An Alpha Mission III would be out of left field but very cool if it did happen, given the popularity of shoot 'em ups these days.
Assuming we are talking about Neo Geo games... I'd have loved to have seen a Last Blade 3, Blazing Star 2, and another Ninja Masters.
I have a feeling that we might see Last Blade 3 in the future but only if Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro returns, as he was the one who wrote the storylines for both titles, but who knows. Not so sure about a Ninja Masters 2 but if they do it in the same graphical style as the most recent SamSho then that would be cool!
