This is almost all of the unreleased games for me.Why did you have to remind me about this one? This is another hurt piece...
The game looks great and a much needed addition to the library...

Well, I think I should make myself clear by saying that when I say these are the sequels I would like to see, it is very much in the context of, would "have liked to have seen", back in the day and, under the assumption, that (OG) SNK lasted a few more years beyond 2001... I'm not sure I'd really give two shits if the current "SNK" released sequels to any of the titles I mentioned, or indeed, any of the other classic series that have become so cherished since their 1990s heydays.I have a feeling that we might see Last Blade 3 in the future but only if Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro returns, as he was the one who wrote the storylines for both titles, but who knows. Not so sure about a Ninja Masters 2 but if they do it in the same graphical style as the most recent SamSho then that would be cool!
I like the basics of 3CB a lot, not so much the stick waggling and button mashing. If they would have updated the engine just a little and added some nice charas, a sequel could have been great.3 count bout aka Fire Suplex (Should have use the later title only)
Far from being my favorite game but one that definitely needs an upgrade..
The head swaps and unappealing characters like Gandhara and Leo Bradlay are bad..

Astra Superstars is as good as we'll get for a Waku Waku 7 sequel.Would have also really loved to see Double Dragon and Waku Waku 7 get sequels.
That's basically what Rage of the Dragons is.Would have also really loved to see Double Dragon
Well, specifically one developed by Tecmos and one that actually had the DD license. That's basically what Rage of the Dragons is.
This is the damn truth. I don't think there's any other Neo game where I simply wanted more of than NDO.Neo Drift Out 2
There is an underappreciated game.Fatal Fury Wild Ambition
I'm not so sure I'd have wanted a sequel to MN, improved or not, but definitely a really good belt-scroller. Burning Fight showed that SNK had potential to develop a SoR / FF competitor... that backgrounds were well drawn, there was some good use of sprite scaling... if they could have improved the character models and animation, with a few tweaks to the game play they wouldn't have been a million miles away. Sengoku 2 is a huge improvement over the first game, so it could have been possible...Really would have loved to see a mid-cycle Mutation Nation sequel that refined the mechanics and art with a 150+ meg count. Sengoku 2 was such a wonderful upgrade from the first game, always wanted to see the same care poured into Mutation Nation.
I don't disagree, a Burning Fight sequel would have likely ironed out and upgraded all the parts that made the first so rough.I'm not so sure I'd have wanted a sequel to MN, improved or not, but definitely a really good belt-scroller. Interesting concept, but never would have happened. SEGA had superior arcade hardware to the Neo released in 1992 with the System 32, and were still top dogs in the arcade market. No reason to "downgrade" to the Neo or rely on any other company for hardware support, be it at home or in the arcade. An Altered Beast sequel on Neo•Geo.
Sequel to the Treasure game of your choice: I’d just love to multi-jointed bosses, plenty of gfx gimmicks, and something along the lines of a ‘next step’ action scroller (where the ‘1st step’ would be Blues Journey/late 80s arcade tier).
Comix Zone 2, Vector Man 3…it would be interesting to see the Neo running something like these, as it used to get critiqued as an over-priced Mega Drive+.
Its really not that great even in comparison to Galaxy Fight. It has its own place as a casual fighter with one button special moves but it lacks the depth of gameplay and characters of the other games.Astra Superstars is as good as we'll get for a Waku Waku 7 sequel.
