The lakers wont finish high enough in the rankings to bring him into consideration. Talent wise for sure. 😞

Lebron is a fucking albatross around the neck of any team with championship aspirations. He's great for revenue but the dude is trash as a player.

And here's a little secret: he always has been.

The Brow MVP season?

Jokic is 4th in points, 1st in rebounds, 1st in assists, 19th in blocks, 26th in steals, and he's once again dominating the advanced stats to a ridiculous degree. While also shooting 51% from the 3 point line.

The gap between Jokic and the 2nd best player is the largest it's ever been.

So true. So self focused , he shouldn’t play a team sport.

The Brow plays both ends, so fuck you Fami.
Defensive rating this season (lower is better)
Davis: 112
Jokic: 110

Defensive win shares (higher is better)
Jokic: 0.4
Davis: 0.3

Defensive box plus minus (higher is better)
Jokic: 3.0
Davis: 1.1

Davis is a better one on one defender by a large margin but Jokic is still getting 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks per game, dominating the defensive glass, and making every single read and call on the court for the team at large.

Even though all of Jokic's backups (Nnaji, Gordon, Jordan) are defensive specialists the Nuggets are a drastically better defensive team with Jokic on the floor than with Jokic off the floor.

Per 100 possessions the Nuggets are approximately 28 points better with Jokic on the floor than off.
Per 100 possessions the Lakers are approximately 2 points better with Davis on the floor than off.

If you traded Jokic for Davis straight up right now the Lakers would easily win the championship and the Nuggets would likely miss the playoffs.

AD is DPOY material and the best Laker. I noticed last season but I don't watch them frequently during the regular season.

PS: Kobe is top 5 Fami.

Kobe isn't even remotely close to top 5 and anyone who says so is a delusional Lakers cockrider.

Jordan.
Kareem.
LeBron.
Wilt.
Bird.
Magic.
Duncan.
Shaq.

Every single one of those guys is unequivocally better than Kobe and that's not even the whole list of dudes that were inarguably better than Kobe.

At no point in his career was Kobe the best player in the NBA. It went Jordan, then Shaq, then Duncan, then LeBron, then arguably Curry, and now it's Jokic.

His last sentence isn't even that bad for him and someone who obviously didn't watch during the 90s

The first season I remember clearly was Mutombo vs the Sonics. Was watching before that, but was too young to remember/care.

Everything I said was true, though. Kobe was never the best player in the NBA. He's the most overrated player in league history by a huge margin.

His career rankings
Box plus minus: 30th
Win shares per 48 minutes: 64th
Player Efficiency Rating: 29th
Value over replacement player: 14th

Without a 7 foot Hall of Famer on the court with him, Kobe is Carmelo Anthony. That's the cold reality.

Those mid-2000s wilderness years are all you need to know about Kobe. He was in his prime and couldn't sniff the 2nd round because he was a garbage teammate and an iso chucker. He wouldn't even be in the conversation if it wasn't for deluded Laker fans and the ESPN ballwashing machine.

Melo is pretty good for morale since he attends the games at the garden. I could turn my hate into love. He was an elite scorer and every defense got worse with him.

Kobe was an elite scorer with elite defense. Best Jordan copy yet, sorry Ant. Kobe & Shaq beef costed both of them 2 or 3 titles.

You mean Kobe being a stupid bitch who wouldn't accept that Shaq was the better player cost them several titles.

Kobe taking way too many shots is why they lost to the Pistons. Then Shaq left and Kobe was Carmelo until Pau got there and saved his reputation.

Gotta love how you can't bring up anyone else having a good season without hearing about Jokic for the billionth time. Dude may be a great player but Denver fans having to shut up when he falls off or retires is going to be like a 2nd fucking Christmas

He didn't say great season. He said AD MVP season. And that's ludicrous.

And the way you feel about Nugs fans now is how all real basketball fans have felt about the Lakers since forever.
